Sending durood to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is a most accepted prayer. This is proven from Allah almighty. It proves the unique personality of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . It also reveals the pretty feature that this act is everlasting, imperishable and free of variation as there is no limit for Allah and so the durood on Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . Allah almighty not only sends durood to His beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ but also asked the angels and the believers to do so.
Hazrat Abi Ibn Kaab رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ says that he told Prophet Muhammad ﷺ that he sent durood to him Prophet Muhammad ﷺ very much so how much time he should spare for durood from his pray? The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said as you wish. I asked whether one forth is enough. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said as you wish, but it would be good for you if do more. I asked whether two third? The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said as you wish, but it would be good for you if you do more. I submitted that I dedicate whole time of my pray for durood. Then the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said “It would be enough for your all grievance and will cause pardon against your sins.
